Ever wonder how bees make honey, what makes a queen bee different from other bees, how honeybees spend their day, and other questions about honeybees? Guest speaker, Laura Cameron-Delisle M.A., will introduce&ldquo;who&rsquo;s in the hive&rdquo;, share interesting &amp; fun facts about bees, relate stories about being a beekeeper, and inform some basics things to know about taking up beekeeping.&nbsp;<br /><br />Cameron-Delisle is an environmental educator, Circle practitioner, foodscape gardener and beekeeper. She offers learning opportunities and support for new and emerging beekeepers and is the acting coordinator for the Chilliwack Beekeepers Community. Her new book Beekeeping Basics, is a companion to all considering the practice of beekeeping, those emerging in the role of beekeeper, and those already developing skills.
